Yes, #writerwednesday is a day late. Yesterday was a day where I just wasn’t able to get to the computer and what a blessing GRACE is on this writing journey. I love blogging so much more than writing for college because the deadlines are created by ME, and my writing schedule is a lot more flexible than what most college professors are willing to give (Can I get an amen?) But I do apologize if my lack of posting here yesterday and LORD willing next week #writerwednesday will be posted on time!
This week I did want to talk about having the courage to add something new to your writing routine and your blogging schedule. When I took my writing break in July I was encouraged and motivated to try and add new topics and different types of content to my personal blog.
Honestly, this is scary to me because I really like focusing on writing devotional content; however, I also feel like how I worship God is not always while I am on my knees in prayer, or in having deep thoughts on life. Truth be told life isn’t always that deep for me, and most of my ministry and worship involves doing mundane things like cleaning my house, or folding laundry; basically taking care of my family, home, and my health.
So over July I decided I would really like to add homemaking, DIY, and goal setting type posts to my blog. If I was someone who liked to cook then I would probably add recipes, but instead I’ll post any lovely recipes I decide are worthy of sharing on my Instagram account, because I basically make the same five meals every week (maybe that is an exaggeration, but our meals are pretty typical and I do make some meals every week on repeat.)
I am really excited to share my new content with my readers, and I will be doing this next Thursday which will be on Goal setting! If you would like to check out my personal blog and the new content I am sharing then please feel free to subscribe to my personal blog here. As a bonus you will receive access to three of my eBooks (PDF format) for free!
Do you feel a stirring in your heart to add a new type of content to your blogging schedule or writing routine? Do you feel like fear is holding you back from this? If not fear, then what is holding you back from adding this new content to your blog? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

In this four week mini Bible Study you will examine your faith and what it means to have faith in God. When we believe in God we then learn to walk in faith and trust God. But first we must believe, and it’s up to us, we can either choose to believe in Him or not. But faith will mean nothing until we believe with all our heart that God is who He says He is.
5 STAR AMAZON REVIEW: “I really enjoyed this mini study. I like when things make you think and journal and you can focus on one aspect at a time. It was a great study.”
