Daddy in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary says: Dad, Father, old man, Pa, PaPa, Poppa, Pater, Descendant.
When we are little children, we might call our Dad, “Daddy.” I called my earthly Dad, “Daddy” until I was about 16 years old! That’s when I thought that saying “Daddy” made me sound childish and I wanted to sound like a grown up.
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child. I thought as a child; but when I became a woman, I put away childish things. 1 Corinthians 13:11
I became Born Again as a child of 10 when I remembered that the Church I went to as a child, was having a Revival. In the Merriam- Webster Dictionary, revival means: a period in which something becomes popular again after a long period of time; the growth of something or an increase in the activity of something after a long period of no growth or activity.
I was sitting in the back pew in Church, because my parents didn’t go to Church. My Mom would take us children and drop us off at the side door and we walked many blocks to our home after Church. I don’t even remember who the Pastor was, but he gave the invitation to ask Jesus into our hearts. I surely wanted to, and with pounding heart, I almost ran to the altar; where I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I continued going to Church, Sunday School, and Youth Fellowship with an adult leader, who taught us more about Jesus! Then we played games and of course ate snacks.
When I grew up and went to High School I behaved like a good girl, because I was afraid of my Dad giving me a spanking. Back then it was the punishment of choice and if you got one, you never did that bad thing again.
When I got married I knew God, but I didn’t KNOW God as I wanted to know Him. I used to work in a Doctors office as a Nurse, when my children were little. I was a strict Mom and I yelled at my Son’s, because of their misbehavior. They didn’t like it, or me sometimes!
One day a lady at work invited me to a Christian Women’s Brunch. I was excited to go. After the Brunch, this lady asked us this, “If you were to die today could you say, I know that I’m going to Heaven, or I hope I’ll go to Heaven.”
WOW, I really didn’t know!
So, at the invitation; I asked Jesus to come and live in my heart, even though as a child I already had said the Salvation Prayer, but never felt as though anything happened. At this time, I felt different inside and at home my Kids felt it too, because I didn’t scream at them anymore, like I had in the past. I was a nicer, kinder person, because of my new born again Spirit that now resided in my heart.
I won’t say I didn’t yell anymore, because if I got upset that’s usually how I’d respond. Our flesh isn’t saved. Only, this time I repented.
If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
There is not a single person in all the earth, who is always good and never sins. Ecclesiastes 7:20
Since becoming Born Again I am now a part of God’s family of Believers and I can call Him, Abba Father, which means “Daddy.”
Scripture about being Born Again: John 3:3, John 3:7.
Who’s your Daddy?

In this four week mini Bible Study you will examine your faith and what it means to have faith in God. When we believe in God we then learn to walk in faith and trust God. But first we must believe, and it’s up to us, we can either choose to believe in Him or not. But faith will mean nothing until we believe with all our heart that God is who He says He is.
5 STAR AMAZON REVIEW: “I really enjoyed this mini study. I like when things make you think and journal and you can focus on one aspect at a time. It was a great study.”
