This particular study, in a world of often insane multitasking, is a journey to a more intimate relationship with Christ. So often LIFE, and it’s many distractions and problems, keep us from seeking comfort in the One who can bring us Peace. We pile on more responsibilities and commitments than we can manage, let alone manage well.
The truth of the matter is, that the more “stuff” we add to our lives, the harder it is to hear the still, small voice of the Lord. This study invites you to take a look at the things in your life and asks you to put them into an eternal perspective.
More than just lists of “how to”, the reader can examine attitudes and behaviors in the light of Scripture. When attitudes are aligned with the heart of Christ, behaviors can follow.
One of my favorite segments of this study was the chapter titled “Living in the Basement.” This refers to a life lived in the fundamentals – the basic tenets of faith and relationship. In our ever-expanding world of information, we can lose sight of the things that REALLY matter. That hold eternal meaning.
And life lived for the moment is riddled with stress and grief. Living life in the here and now with an eye on the eternal prize requires simplicity – and this Bible study will encourage you to pursue that lifestyle in profoundly simple terms.[I purchased this Bible study for my own personal use. In this four week mini Bible Study you will examine your faith and what it means to have faith in God. When we believe in God we then learn to walk in faith and trust God. But first we must believe, and it’s up to us, we can either choose to believe in Him or not. But faith will mean nothing until we believe with all our heart that God is who He says He is.
5 STAR AMAZON REVIEW: “I really enjoyed this mini study. I like when things make you think and journal and you can focus on one aspect at a time. It was a great study.”
