Why should we be Thankful ? Because God is the Giver of all things !
What is Thankful ? In the Merriam-Webster Dictionary Thankful means: glad that something has
happened or not happened, that something or someone exists, etc.: expressive of thanks.
When we were children, our parents said, “Mind your manners ! ” Manners are behavior while with other people: social conduct. When you had company coming, you were told to be on your best behavior and don’t forget to say please and thank you, especially if you received a gift for your Birthday or Christmas. We wrote Thank you notes to the person who gave it, being full of thanks, whether you liked the gift or not.
What does “Thanks Living” look like ?
When we get up in the morning, we Thank God for giving us a good night’s sleep.
Thank God for the food we eat, the clothes we wear, whether new or ” hand me downs.”
Being in a family with six children, we had to share our clothes. We four girls had to hand down the clothes we out grew. My two younger brothers did the same.
Thank God for safety throughout the day.
No accidents, or harm done to us !
Be Thankful for having a nice home to live in, some people don’t, They are homeless.
Be Thankful for our food to fill our stomachs. There are those who go hungry everyday and hear growls in their stomachs every night.
Be Thankful for your families and your friends. You may have disagreements, but God put you in your family for a reason.
Families are there to encourage you and to help you in your times of need.
Be Thankful for your job no matter what you do! God gives us wealth for our needs and to help others who are less fortunate than we are.
Be Thankful for your health because no day is guaranteed. Our life is but a breath. Enjoy the time God gives you on this earth!
We were created to serve others, not to be takers, but givers of ourselves.
Be Thankful for your neighbors because God put you in that neighborhood for a reason. There are so many people who don’t know The LORD. You might just be the one God uses to tell them about Him and His Son, our Savior, Jesus !
Be Thankful for the person God created you to be.
Yes, we can Thank Him for creating us! We aren’t perfect, but God will perfect us when we get to Heaven someday and then our Spirit will be perfect.
Thanks Living is living our lives in a constant attitude of gratitude.
No matter what, we should Thank God. When you get a good report, Thank God and when you don’t, Thank Him too. His ways are Higher than our ways.
God has a plan for each one of us.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares The LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
It doesn’t matter if we’re tall or short, thin or ” fluffy,” young or old, attractive or not ( at least to us ). Whether we can walk or ambulate via wheelchair, whether we’re smart or challenged, God created you in His image and He thinks you’re BEAUTIFUL.
So live your days in Thanks Living, because it pleases your Creator and gives Him the Honor He deserves!

In this four week mini Bible Study you will examine your faith and what it means to have faith in God. When we believe in God we then learn to walk in faith and trust God. But first we must believe, and it’s up to us, we can either choose to believe in Him or not. But faith will mean nothing until we believe with all our heart that God is who He says He is.
5 STAR AMAZON REVIEW: “I really enjoyed this mini study. I like when things make you think and journal and you can focus on one aspect at a time. It was a great study.”
