The Merriam Webster Dictionary describes Lonliness as sad from being apart from other people, being without people. When you have God in your life and Jesus in the center of your life; you are never alone.
It is written in God’s Word, the Bible to:
” Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for The LORD Your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV ( New International Version )
How many times have we felt alone and maybe even “invisible ” at times ?
Those are the times when we need to get on our knees before God, in Prayer.
It is never God who moved, but perhaps we did ! I used to feel alone, but when I realized that God never leaves me, I don’t feel that way anymore. There are times, even after being married for 46 years, that a person could feel sad or alone. It’s as if you are the only one on planet earth.
We get busy, we take care of our children and they they leave home for College and or get married. Then you retire and think, ” now what do we do ?” Then our ” nest ” really does feel empty. When our four sons left home for college, I sat on the empty carpet in their rooms and cried because I felt so lonely.
I cried and then a thought came to my mind , that if I filled the closet with clothes and coats and yarn, it might not feel so empty! It really did fill the space, but I still missed them!
God puts people in our lives who have been through those times, to help us cope and maybe find a Bible study or women’s group, to help us. We are God’s children and we all need each other in this lonely world.
It is sad that we feel alone in our life, but nothing we go through is ever wasted with God.
He will turn it around for our good and His Glory.
Call a friend, write a letter, but remember to include Our Father in your plans, because He created us.
We have a dog, Toner; a black Cocker Spaniel who will be 13 years old in December. He was getting to be a ” couch potato ” , so we got another dog named Scarlet, another black Cocker who is Toner’s niece. She is almost 1 1/2. Our lives changed, to say the least. She was so hyper that this ” Mommy Packleader” was ready to quit. It was like having a toddler again. I must say, we are not feeling lonely anymore! I do believe that God has a sense of humor, because we almost weren’t going to be able to get her, due to two other families having had their eyes on her.
My husband and I cried because we planned for her like having a new baby. Having Scarlet is like having two toddlers. When we got the call on April 5, 2016, we were extremely excited. Now, Scarlet realizes that this is her home and we love her. She has settled down a lot! We have many ways to keep us occupied and no time for Loneliness.

In this four week mini Bible Study you will examine your faith and what it means to have faith in God. When we believe in God we then learn to walk in faith and trust God. But first we must believe, and it’s up to us, we can either choose to believe in Him or not. But faith will mean nothing until we believe with all our heart that God is who He says He is.
5 STAR AMAZON REVIEW: “I really enjoyed this mini study. I like when things make you think and journal and you can focus on one aspect at a time. It was a great study.”
