Write for Us

At Becoming Press we are always looking for new writers to write for our extensive blogs published by us. If you are interested in applying to become a writer for us just read over the information below and fill out the following application.

The application process:

To become a writer for us we do require a trial period. As an applicant we request that you provide up to 5 guest articles to be published on any of our blogs. These articles will need to be original, published no where else, written by you, and as the publisher we will request that the articles submitted not be submitted to any other publication. At the end of the application process we will discuss further paid writing opportunities.

Each guest post will include an authors bio, and you will be able to spotlight your writing accomplishments within this authors bio.

Please note: Going through the application process does not guarantee you will be asked to become a paid writer. This process helps us to weed out those who are serious about the commitment required in order to write for us, and for us to examine your writing style and see if it is a good fit for one of our blogs.

We accept articles on the following topics: Christian fiction, Christian non-fiction, bible studies, parenting, marriage, homemaking, gardening, movie reviews, devotionals. We allow articles for the Christian Woman, and men.

The next step in the application process:

Once you have submitted the 5 guest blog posts and IF you are asked back to be a paid writer we will then draw up a writing agreement which you will be required to sign. All writers are hired on an independent contractor, freelance, basis. However if you do make more than $600 within a year we will issue a 1099 and do require your social security or tax ID number with your contract.

As a new writer you will also be asked to sign and submit our statement of faith and agree to write within the boundaries of our statement of faith.
